Cieszący się coraz większą popularnością, prezentowany w wielu miejscach w Polsce oraz za granicą cykl wystaw „Cerkiewne Opowieści” zaskakuje różnorodnością zmieniającego się materiału zdjęciowego wzmocnionego dodatkowo opowieścią będącą często bardzo intymnym przeżyciem chwili towarzyszącej spotkaniom z Drewnianymi Paniami. Fotografie powstały w czasie wędrówek po Roztoczu, Bieszczadach, Beskidzie Niskim, Beskidzie Sądeckim oraz Podlasiu. Autorzy starają się przybliżyć temat życia i śmierci cerkwi – budowli i cerkwi o ludzkim obliczu, obrzędy, przenikanie się kultur oraz różnorodność wyznaniową. Wystawie towarzyszy chwila zadumy nad przeszłością, teraźniejszością oraz przyszłością Drewnianych Pań często popadających w ruinę i odchodzących w niebyt ale równie często rozkwitających pod opieką różnych wspólnot wyznaniowych.

The series of exhibitions called „Orthodox tales”, gaining more and more popularity and having been presented in numerous venues in Poland and abroad, surprise us with variety of altering photo materials, additionally strengthened with a story often being an intimate experience of a moment accompanying to meeting the Wooden Ladies. The photos were taken while hiking in the Roztocze, the Bieszczady, the Beskid Niski, the Beskid Sądecki and in the Podlasie. The authors are trying to familiarize us with the subject of life and death of the Orthodox church – buildings and the church having a human face, rituals, interpenetration of different cultures and religious variety. The exhibition is often related with moments of reverie on the past, the present and the future of the Wooden Ladies that are often falling into ruins and nonentity, but equally often blooming under the custody of different religious associations.
